    Refunds & Cancellation Policy

    We've built this policy to be as fair and transparent as possible for both our clients and our grooming team.

    Cancellations

    1.1 Standard Cancellation — 24 Hours or More Notice

    We kindly ask that all cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within this window are accepted at no charge and you are welcome to reschedule at any time.

    1.2 Late Cancellations — Less Than 24 Hours Notice

    Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a flat late cancellation fee of $45. This fee exists because our groomers set aside dedicated time for your pet and last-minute cancellations leave gaps that are difficult to fill on short notice. We understand that emergencies happen. If you have a genuine emergency, please contact us directly and we will do our best to work with you.

    1.3 Same-Day Cancellations

    Cancellations made on the day of your appointment (within 2 hours of your scheduled arrival time) will be subject to a flat cancellation fee of $45.

    No-Show Policy

    2.1 No-Show Fee

    A "no-show" occurs when a client is not present and/or their pet is not available at the scheduled appointment time and we are unable to reach you after reasonable attempts to contact you. No-show appointments will be charged a fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service total. This is because our groomer has traveled to your location and the appointment time cannot be recovered.

    2.2 Future Bookings After a No-Show

    Clients who no-show without prior notice may be required to pay a deposit to secure future appointments. Repeated no-shows may result in a restriction from booking future services with G Mobile Grooming.

    Rescheduling

    3.1 How to Reschedule

    We are happy to reschedule your appointment at no charge provided you give us at least 24 hours' notice. You can reschedule by calling 562-340-2664 or emailing gmobilegrooming@gmail.com.

    3.2 Rescheduling Within 24 Hours

    Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice will be treated the same as a late cancellation and may be subject to the applicable fee outlined in Section 1.2.

    3.3 Repeated Rescheduling

    Clients who repeatedly reschedule at the last minute may be required to pay a deposit at the time of booking to secure future appointments.

    Cancellation by G Mobile Grooming

    We strive to honor every appointment we book. However, in rare situations we may need to cancel or reschedule due to: groomer illness or personal emergency, vehicle breakdown or maintenance issues, severe weather or unsafe road conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In any of these situations, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule your appointment at no penalty to you. No cancellation fees will be charged to the client when GMG initiates the cancellation.

    Refund Policy

    5.1 Service Completed — General Satisfaction

    We take great pride in our work and want every pet owner to be happy with their groom. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your service, please contact us within 24 hours of the completed appointment and we will do everything we can to make it right — including offering a complimentary touch-up groom at no additional charge.

    5.2 Refund Eligibility

    Refunds for completed grooming services are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. A full or partial refund may be issued in the following circumstances: a grooming error was made that significantly affects your pet's appearance or wellbeing and we are unable to correct it; a service was charged for but not performed; a duplicate or incorrect charge was applied to your payment method.

    5.3 Refund Requests

Please provide your name, your pet's name, the date of service, and a description of your concern. Where applicable, photos are helpful and appreciated. We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

    5.4 Non-Refundable Situations

    Refunds will not be issued for: dissatisfaction due to de-matting or necessary grooming procedures explained and agreed upon before service; coat appearance changes from natural texture or growth pattern; services completed as requested but the client changed their mind after the fact; cancellation fees or no-show fees charged in accordance with this policy.

    5.5 Deposit Refunds

    If a deposit was collected to secure your booking and you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, your deposit will be refunded in full or applied toward your rescheduled appointment. Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations and no-shows.

    5.6 Refund Method & Timing

    Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We will confirm your refund by email once it has been processed.

    We are a small, family-owned business and we genuinely care about our clients. If you have a situation that does not fit neatly into the guidelines above — such as a pet health emergency, a hospitalization, or another serious circumstance — please reach out to us directly. We will always do our best to be reasonable and compassionate.
